Job description

Overview

Hardware Engineer responsible for supporting automotive electronic systems through functional safety, validation, hardware-software integration, simulation and interface analysis activities.

What you'll do

  • Apply Functional Safety ISO 26262 standards.
  • Perform DV and PV testing.
  • Conduct HW-SW integration testing.
  • Perform SI and PI simulation.
  • Apply FTA and DFA knowledge.
  • Use high-speed scopes.
  • Apply knowledge of ADAS system components and subsystem functions.
  • Apply Automotive Functional Safety ISO 26262 Part 5 knowledge.
  • Apply knowledge of CAN and Automotive Ethernet.
  • Perform requirement elicitation.
  • Maintain safe work practices, comply with Magna H&S requirements, and participate in training and hazard reporting.

What you'll need

  • Good exposure and knowledge of the Functional Safety ISO 26262 standard.
  • Good knowledge of DV and PV testing.
  • Experience in HW-SW integration testing.
  • Experience in SI and PI simulation.
  • Knowledge of FTA and DFA.
  • Knowledge of high-speed scope usage.
  • Knowledge of ADAS system components and subsystem functions.
  • Good knowledge of Automotive Functional Safety ISO 26262 Part 5.
  • Good knowledge of CAN and Automotive Ethernet.
  • Requirement elicitation knowledge.
