Head of Delivery, AI Operations

Overview

Lead delivery of AI operations services, including training data collection and annotation, adversarial testing, model evaluation and AI safety review, with a focus on Physical AI such as robotics and world models.

What you'll do

• Manage the delivery of AI services such as data collection and annotation, adversarial testing, and AI content safety moderation.
• Lead a global team of Operations Managers to deliver AI services on time and under budget, meeting and exceeding customer quality expectations.
• Partner with Sales Enablement and Business Development teams to scope, solution, and land proposals for new client opportunities.
• Design and oversee specialized operations protocols for delivery models using full-time employees in global centers, remote workers, and freelance workers.
• Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Training, PMO, Sales, and Product and Engineering teams to advance automation and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Foster a high-performance culture that encourages continuous learning and improvement.
• Drive a culture of testing, iterating, and scaling processes so that workflows are efficient and results-driven.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of Operations leadership experience, ideally within an organization that provides HITL, RLHF and evaluation services to leading LLM developers, Mag7 companies, AV builders and Robotics companies.
• Deep understanding of how LLMs, Generative AI workflows, and multi-modal data structures (video, spatial, and sensor fusion) are essential for the robotics ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of large language models, generative AI workflows, and data structures.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and global teams.
• Track record of managing teams in a high-velocity environment, with a focus on outcomes.
• Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems with a relentless attitude of testing, iterating, and scaling solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.

• A strong point of view on the most useful AI tools on the market, and enjoyment of experimenting with them.
• Strong interest and commitment to learning about the latest developments in Robotics and Physical AI technologies.

Details

• Location: US - Remote.
• Travel: 25%.
• Salary range: $156,000.00 - $234,000.00 per year.
• Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
