Head of Electrical Engineering

Overview

Head of Engineering to lead engineering activities for substation construction projects, ensuring delivery within time, quality, and cost.

What you'll do

• Coordinate engineering deliveries with the project schedule.
• Run regular project review meetings and ensure schedule adherence.
• Review designs, calculations, and drawings and ensure timely submission after approvals.
• Coordinate across civil, structural, MEP, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Allocate work and manage man-hours for project roles.
• Support vendors on clarifications and ensure timely material delivery to site.

What you'll need

• 20+ years of experience (predominantly in substation construction design and leading multiple project executions).
• B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Expertise in primary and secondary substation engineering for projects up to 765 KV.
• Proficiency in selecting equipment such as power transformers, reactors, circuit breakers, and instrument transformers.
• Knowledge of primary/secondary design topics including earthing, lighting, lightning protection, and cabling.
• Desirable awareness of ETAP, PSCAD & CYMGRD and project planning tools.
