Head of Engineering, Sales & Marketing Tools

Overview

Head of Engineering, Sales & Marketing Tools leads MonieCRM and the engineering platform powering sales workforce operations and partner/customer engagement tooling.

What you'll do

• Own MonieCRM, described as the operating system for Moniepoint’s sales network.
• Build and evolve an in-house workforce operations platform for multi-level field sales teams.
• Modernise and re-architect systems to improve reliability and support 20M+ users.
• Ensure financial correctness for wallets, commission calculation/attribution, cashout and welfare funds.
• Deliver capabilities across onboarding, pipeline/portfolio, performance/goals, compensation, and sales support.
• Own parts of marketing technology stack, including engineering/customisation for Braze.

What you'll need

• 10–15 years of overall software engineering experience.
• At least 5 years leading engineering teams through growth phases.
• 5+ years hands-on, production-level experience writing and shipping Java.
• At least 5 years managing managers (leading via other engineering leaders).
• Platform engineering experience building and running complex distributed systems.
• Backend skills in high-throughput, data-intensive distributed systems; proficient in Java and Spring Boot.

Nice to have

• Fintech or payments background is strongly preferred.
• CRM or SalesTech domain experience is nice to have (explicitly not required).
• Exposure to Braze/customer engagement or marketing automation platforms is a plus.
