Head of Process Engineering

Overview

Head of Process Engineering leads process engineering activities in India across casting, surfacing, milling, polishing, and coating processes, driving manufacturing performance and industrialization.

What you'll do

• Lead the process engineering team for casting, surfacing, milling, polishing, hard coating, and AR coating.
• Lead FPY, OEE, and manufacturing performance improvement using a structured KPI-linked improvement pipeline.
• Apply data-driven problem solving including SPC, capability analysis, root-cause analysis, DOE, Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM.
• Support quality by investigating customer complaints and internal nonconformities and ensuring robust corrective/preventive actions.
• Support industrialization of new processes, equipment, and automation with validation, ramp-up, and handover plans.
• Drive automation and digital initiatives including Industry 4.0, MES, IoT, data analytics, and predictive maintenance.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Chemical, or Polymer Engineering.
• 10–15 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 6 years leading engineering/process teams.
• Experience in automotive, chemical, or electronic industries, including automation and Lean manufacturing.
• Strong experience with automation projects and Lean tools.
• Technical competencies including Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, SPC, and project management.
• Leadership competencies including strategic thinking, coaching, change management, and stakeholder management.
