Overview
Test Automation Handler Engineer responsible for addressing and improving product- and equipment-specific issues and collaborating with Equipment Engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Evaluate and improve assembly manufacturing processes, materials, and/or equipment.
- Optimize process and equipment variables using DOE techniques.
- Perform containment of process/equipment deviations, determine root cause, and implement corrective action.
- Monitor Assembly process SPC and implement working procedures, process specifications, FMEA, and OCAP.
- Evaluate future technologies for equipment, materials, and processes and research technical information.
- Develop process of record (POR) including DOE-based variable interactions and CPK-related definitions.
- Qualify and implement new processes, equipment, and/or materials and coordinate training.
What you'll need
- Apply DOE techniques to identify process variables and contributing factors.
- Use methods for containment, root cause determination, and corrective action implementation.
- Maintain equipment knowledge as it relates to the process and materials knowledge as it relates to the process.
- Monitor and support Assembly process SPC and related documentation/procedures (FMEA, OCAP).
- Coordinate equipment/material procurement activities including MICAP procedures and SAP MATREQ knowledge.
- Follow safety procedures including PPE, energy isolation, and chemical safety while reporting hazards.
