Senior Auditor

Overview

Senior Auditor responsible for executing audits per the audit plan, from planning and fieldwork through reporting, root cause analysis, and follow-up closure.

What you'll do

• Execute assigned audits as per the audit plan with guidance for end-to-end coverage.
• Gather preliminary information and prior internal audit reports, analyze data, and define audit scope.
• Collect business policies, procedures, SOPs, and obtain required reports from SAP and other systems.
• Document process flowcharts, validate selected samples, and discuss deviations with process owners.
• Prepare and consolidate draft audit reports including observations, risk implications, and root causes.
• Conduct follow-ups on open audit observations and coordinate to ensure agreed actions are sustainably implemented.
• Escalate key unresolved recommendations to the group leader and prepare supporting annexures.

What you'll need

• CA (Charted Accountant) educational qualification.
• Minimum 3 to 10 years of work experience.
• Ability to execute audits according to the audit plan with end-to-end coverage.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial and non-financial data to define audit scope.
• Experience with documenting process information per policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of preparing and consolidating draft reports and handling follow-ups on open observations.
• Strong communication for discussions with process owners and timely escalation.
