Junior Engineer- Quality

Overview

Junior Engineer - Quality role in Pune supporting supplier quality validation, approvals, and continuous improvement activities.

What you'll do

• Carry out supplier validation audits and support APQP.
• Lead supplier approval by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and HSE risks.
• Support new product launches to meet required supplier quality standards.
• Follow up on root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
• Perform on-site supplier visits to verify correction actions.
• Review supplier manufacturing processes and collaborate on improvement and value enhancement.
• Prepare documentation of inspection results and support inspection/test status requirements.

What you'll need

• 0-2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), PPAP, and FMEA.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
• Knowledge of quality and business systems.
• Knowledge of TS16949.
• Understanding of ISO45001/OHSAS18001 and ISO14001.
• Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of measurement techniques.
