Health Plan Pricing Analyst

Overview

The Health Plan Pricing Analyst ensures appropriate collateral is received and determines the correct medical rate for a prospect based on the risk they present.

What you'll do

• Work independently to conduct prospect census review, including medical plans and rates, to determine the appropriate medical price based on the presented risk of the prospect
• Evaluate required documents using various tools, including a medical pricing tool
• Communicate with Sales colleagues
• Assist with reviewing and evaluating the output of the tools and resources TriNet uses, and make suggestions for improvements to these tools and the Health Plan Pricing process
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• Typically 2+ years of experience required
• Ability to interpret and analyze detailed medical plans and related documents
• Ability to solve problems using mathematical skills
• Independent thinking skills and ability to complete projects with minimal guidance
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skills in Excel
• Ability to communicate with Sales personnel regarding Health Plan Pricing guidelines and requirements

• Experience in insurance pricing
