Overview

Per diem Healthcare Recruiter role at Greenstaff Medical responsible for end-to-end recruitment, with a focus on market-facing sourcing, candidate vetting and scheduling, and building a pipeline of healthcare professionals.

What you'll do

• Formulate and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies (e.g., job boards, professional networks, social media) to identify high-caliber healthcare talent.
• Evaluate inbound applicant flow and proactively reach out to passive candidate pools to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
• Systematically capture, track and verify candidate availability to optimize placement rates and meet urgent staffing demands.
• Conduct rigorous candidate screening, competency assessments and initial credential verification.
• Facilitate competitive compensation discussions and align pay rate structures with market benchmarks and budgetary guidelines.
• Oversee the formal candidate presentation process, ensuring clinical and professional profiles align with client specifications.
• Administer the offer letter issuance process and facilitate formal acceptance procedures.
• Coordinate the transition of placed candidate files to the Credentialing Department for final clearance and primary source verification.
• Educate candidates on scheduling protocols, mobile/web platform navigation and internal operational workflows.
• Act as the primary liaison for resolving candidate payroll discrepancies and financial inquiries, and facilitate constructive performance feedback with candidates.
• Achieve and maintain the assigned billable hours target per week.
• Maintain and grow the targeted number of active runners.
• Deliver a minimum of 4 fully cleared, compliant candidates per month.
• Maintain a minimum percentage of candidates working weekly from the pool of cleared candidates.

What you'll need

• 1+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare staffing (nursing, allied health or locum tenens) or a fast-paced agency environment.
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and professional sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail, specifically regarding compliance and data integrity.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
