Overview
Imaging Applications Director responsible for technical governance, standards, and quality for clinical imaging application configuration, validation, and documentation.
What you'll do
- Establish and own governance for imaging application configuration, validation, technical documentation, and workflow design.
- Provide final technical authority for complex imaging application decisions, escalations, and exceptions within scope.
- Design technical solutions for data collection needed for clinical trial endpoint evaluation per the Imaging Review Charter.
- Own standards and technical quality framework for trial configuration specifications across imaging delivery.
- Lead cross-functional reviews of technical documentation and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Lead process improvement and training initiatives, including development of SOPs and scalable documentation frameworks.
- Support UAT and QC activities, including escalated workflow QC and query handling when needed.
What you'll need
- Experience as a senior technical authority within clinical imaging, imaging applications, BICR workflow design, or regulated clinical trial environments.
- Expert knowledge of imaging application architecture, configuration governance, BICR workflows, and DICOM/data transfer standards.
- Demonstrable knowledge of industry guidelines and regulations including ICH-GCP.
- Experience troubleshooting medical image issues, especially DICOM.
- Knowledge of multitmodality clinical imaging standard practices and imaging read criteria (e.g., RECIST 1.1, PCWG3, Lugano).
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or related study) or equivalent project-related experience.
Nice to have
- Medical Writing experience.
- Experience with MINT and MIM applications.
- Masters degree.
- Certifications in CNMT, RT(N)(CT)(MR).
