Director Facilities Management

Overview

Director Facilities Management responsible for delivering IFM services for an account, managing stakeholder relationships, financial and contractual performance, and operational standards across sites.

What you'll do

• Maintain high-level client and stakeholder relationships as a single point of contact.
• Drive service delivery integration and ensure no conflicting activities or conflicts of interest.
• Meet agreed account financial targets for revenue, expenses, and debtors.
• Ensure adherence to contracts, KPIs, and service levels for the account.
• Implement technology systems and create standard operating procedures for new accounts.
• Manage local IFM initiatives, change control, and client-specific programs (e.g., savings and benchmarking).
• Support KPI achievement, internal mandatory account deliverables, and professional development of direct reports.

What you'll need

• Over 15 years of practical experience in property or facility management.
• A university degree or professional qualification in engineering, real estate, or facility management.
• Strong leadership, people, and communication skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to think laterally and deliver innovative solutions.
• Willingness and ability to travel on short notice, including for emergencies.
