Index Data Research Analyst

Overview

Research and validate global company and dividend data for use in index maintenance, while supporting data quality, compliance, operations, and automation initiatives.

What you'll do

• Research and process information on global companies using data vendors and internet sources.
• Validate dividend data and investigate discrepancies in provider information.
• Collaborate with data providers to ensure data integrity and timeliness.
• Perform audits and checks against internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Document workflows and controls in line with EU BMR and IOSCO principles.
• Work with global stakeholders to resolve data issues and support operations.
• Contribute to automation, tool enhancement, and data quality projects.

What you'll need

• Up to 2 years of experience in financial markets, indices, investment products, or portfolio management.
• Bachelor's degree or above in finance, economics, data analysis, mathematics, or an IT-related subject.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize established guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work autonomously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• VBA, Python, or SQL skills.
• Knowledge of market data vendors such as Refinitiv, Bloomberg, SIX, or ICE.
• Fluency in a second Asian or European language.

Details

• Location: Goregaon East, Mumbai, India.
• Work in rotational shifts: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, or 2:00 PM–11:00 PM IST.
