Overview
Industrial Engineer for Manufacturing Operations, focused on optimizing production assembly methods, processes, and equipment to improve quality, efficiency, costs, and safety.
What you'll do
- Optimize production assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours.
- Ensure production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components support production targets.
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvement opportunities within timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
- Define the working phase sequence for new production processes to meet targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.
- Approver process designs developed internally/externally and perform final tests against project requirements.
- Support production during internal/external start-ups with action plans and training for maintenance and production resources.
- Evaluate new process technologies and lead testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.
What you'll need
- 5 to 8 years experience in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Operations.
- Hands-on experience in process improvement, capacity planning, productivity improvement, manufacturing line setup, and industrialization activities.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge including Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
- Experience with Kaizen, time & motion studies, capacity analysis, and manufacturing performance methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and monitor manufacturing data using KPIs such as OEE, productivity, throughput, labor efficiency, capacity utilization, cycle time, and lead time.
- Track record in plant layout, material flow optimization, production line industrialization, equipment selection, CAPEX initiatives, and greenfield/brownfield manufacturing projects.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering / Production Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering.
- Strong English written and verbal communication for cross-functional and global teams.
