Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

Overview

Manufacturing Engineering Specialist responsible for defining and improving manufacturing methods, processes, and tooling for company products. The role is part of the Manufacturing Team in Pune and is on-site.

What you'll do

• Determine optimal manufacturing methods and processes from startup through production.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, manufacturing routings, and Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Design and develop new tooling, jigs, and fixtures, and improve existing methods.
• Specify, source, and commission fabrication equipment and support process upgrades.
• Lead engineering projects, improvement initiatives, and root-cause investigations.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Hands-on exposure to fabrication, welding, and pressure vessel manufacturing.
• Automation project experience and manufacturing process optimization.
• Lean manufacturing and kaizen implementation experience.
• Root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Mechanical Engineering degree/Manufacturing Degree.
• CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and knowledge of laser/plasma cutting and CNC sheet metal bending.
