Overview
As part of the Enterprise Automation and Technology Enablement team, the Information Security Engineer II - IAM will design, develop, configure, and maintain automated data workflows, integrations, reporting solutions, and operational automation platforms. This individual contributor role supports automation, data engineering, workflow orchestration, and operational excellence initiatives, including larger platforms like SailPoint.
What you'll do
- Document automation runbooks, playbooks, technical procedures, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with Business, Application, Infrastructure, Data Engineering, and Support teams to gather requirements and implement automation solutions for larger platforms like SailPoint.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks and self-service capabilities to support operational teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using scripting, APIs, orchestration tools, and low-code/no-code platforms where applicable.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes.
- Develop automation for operational reporting, data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring activities.
- Create dashboards and reporting solutions to provide actionable business insights.
- Monitor automation jobs, troubleshoot failures, and implement proactive improvements.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, regulatory requirements, data governance standards, and audit controls.
- Optimize business processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support enterprise AI, analytics, and intelligent automation programs.
- Develop operational metrics, KPI reporting, and executive dashboards.
- Implement automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
What you'll need

- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, automation engineering, business process automation, or related technology roles.
- Strong knowledge of Python, PowerShell, SQL, or other scripting languages.
- Experience with API integrations, REST services, and enterprise application connectivity.
- Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation workflows.
- Knowledge of workflow orchestration and automation platforms, including Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Apache Airflow.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
- Data modeling, data quality, and data validation experience.
- Dashboard and reporting development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with source control tools such as Git.
- Monitoring, alerting, and operational support experience.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of AI-enabled automation and intelligent process automation solutions.
