Overview

FinOps & Cloud Architecture Engineer to design and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure while managing cloud costs through visibility, tagging, budgeting, and optimization.

What you'll do

• Maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP with security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Evaluate architecture decisions (compute, storage, networking) for technical fit and cost impact.
• Own cloud cost visibility via dashboards and reports for spend, forecasts, and budget variance.
• Implement and enforce tagging, showback/chargeback, and cost-allocation standards across cloud accounts.
• Identify and drive cost optimizations including rightsizing, reserved instances/savings plans, and idle resource cleanup.
• Track and report FinOps KPIs (e.g., cost per unit, waste %, savings realized) to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 6–10 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Working knowledge of a second major cloud provider (plus).
• Solid understanding of cloud billing models, cost drivers, and optimization levers.
• Comfort building reports/dashboards using Excel, Looker, Tableau, or native cloud cost tools.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical cost drivers to Finance/business stakeholders.
