Infrastructure Automation

Overview

Implement infrastructure automation for certification and plant management, infrastructure-on-demand APIs, and lab-based testing for new hardware and software certification.

What you'll do

• Implement automation for certification and plant management using Python and Ansible.
• Extend and integrate APIs to provide infrastructure-on-demand.
• Perform and automate lab-based testing as part of new hardware and software certification.
• Communicate with internal clients and stakeholders to identify new business requirements.
• Design well architected solutions that meet internal client and stakeholder needs.

What you'll need

• Experience automating repetitive tasks related to installation, configuration or management of infrastructure using Ansible, Python, shell or other scripting/programming language.
• Expertise with F5 LTM & GTM load-balancer configuration and APIs, including TMSH, iControl and iRules.
• A firm understanding of networking concepts and protocols at all layers, including TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP and SSL.
• Experience with distributed web applications and knowledge of their underlying infrastructure.
• Comfort working with a Linux-based command line.

Nice to have

• Experience with other programming languages.
• Hands-on experience deploying and configuring other network infrastructure, such as Cisco and Arista.
• Experience with the Infoblox suite of DNS and DHCP products.
• Knowledge of virtualized and containerized infrastructure.
• Understanding of software version control, deployment and build tools and SDLC practices.
• Recognised industry certifications from F5, Cisco and other vendors.
