Overview

Inside Sales / Commercial Specialist supporting Business Development Managers to drive sales target outcomes through commercial activities and proposal support.

What you'll do

• Support the sales process integrity by engaging core business functions for commercial activities and approvals.
• Coordinate commercial SMEs (including operations, legal, and A&F) for bid/commercial execution.
• Develop and manage commercial pricing models and terms/conditions submissions.
• Prepare first-pass paperwork and draft commercially concise, targeted sales proposals.
• Respond to client enquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Compile sales and activity reports and maintain thorough documentation and administrative records.
• Assist with competition/client research and recommend sales strategy.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of combined experience in sales, engineering, construction, or operations (engineering/construction industry).
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, quantity surveying, or similar discipline.
• Interest in commercial aspects: pricing, contracts, and risk management.
• Proactive, decisive approach and ability to perform with light supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for error-free document issuance.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle frequent information interchange.
• Willingness to learn and develop, including written/verbal/presentation communication skills.
