Overview

Integration Analyst (IBM API Connect) - Associate providing client support in Business Application Consulting, focusing on Maximo Consulting.

What you'll do

• Provide production support for APIs and integrations built on IBM API Connect (standalone or on CP4I).
• Monitor APIs, API Gateway traffic, message flows, and integration job availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot API failures, connectivity, authentication/authorization, timeouts, and data issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot custom connectors/policies, API proxies, and gateway-level extensions in APIC.
• Implement and support OAuth 2.0, API keys/client credentials, JWT validation, and other API access security schemes.
• Manage certificates and SSL/TLS/mutual TLS setups for secure API communication.
• Analyze logs for root cause analysis, coordinate issue resolution, and manage incidents/service requests within SLA.

What you'll need

• Have at least a Bachelor's degree.
• Have at least 2+ years of experience.
• Have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with IBM API Connect (APIC) v10 (standalone or on CP4I).
• Be proficient in oral and written English.
• Have experience with API creation, publishing, API Gateway, Developer Portal, and product/plan management.
• Have good working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, API security, certificates, and SSL/TLS.
• Have experience with monitoring, log analysis, incident management, and RCA.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), Boomi, or MuleSoft.
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift/container platforms.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or ELK.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow/Jira and ITIL processes.
• Hold IBM API Connect certification or MuleSoft Certified Developer- L1.
