Integration Engineer - FCS

Overview

Integration Engineer - FCS designing, developing, and supporting enterprise interoperability solutions for secure healthcare data exchange.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and support healthcare integrations using InterSystems HealthConnect, Ensemble, and IRIS.
• Develop and maintain HL7 v2.x interfaces for ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, and MDM workflows.
• Build and support FHIR and SMART on FHIR APIs and REST-based integration services.
• Implement message transformation, orchestration, routing, validation, and exception-handling using JSON and XML.
• Troubleshoot interface failures, data quality issues, API errors, and integration challenges.
• Implement source control and automated deployments with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps practices.

What you'll need

• 4+ years designing, developing, troubleshooting, and supporting healthcare or enterprise integrations.
• Experience with HL7 v2.x healthcare messaging standards.
• Experience developing or supporting FHIR and REST APIs.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability and healthcare data exchange solutions.
• Experience with message transformation, routing, orchestration, and interface design.
• Experience using Git for source control and CI/CD deployment processes.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting production integration environments.
• Experience with HIPAA-regulated systems or other regulated industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Limited travel may be required for meetings, implementations, and stakeholder engagements.
