Overview

ICAI intern to support internal audit work, including SOX/ICFR testing and participation in audit planning, execution, and reporting.

What you'll do

• Learn and execute concepts around Test of Design (TOD) and Test of Operating Effectiveness (TOE).
• Perform testing for assigned SOX and ICFR controls under supervision.
• Participate in planning, execution, and reporting for financial or operational internal audits.
• Help identify risks as part of audits and report findings on the Audit Board.
• Assist seniors with drafting audit reports.
• Identify issues from control testing or audits and recommend process improvements.
• Support special projects, investigations, and other ad hoc tasks.

What you'll need

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or be currently completing one.
• Have completed at least 1 year of CA articleship under an existing ICAI member.
• Understand basic concepts of taxation, accounting, and auditing.
• Have minimum 3–6 months of internal audit experience.
• Demonstrate organizational, teamwork, and verbal communication skills.
• Be eager to learn and work with various departments.
