Financial Controls Analyst - SOX/ IT Audit - Gen AI

Overview

Financial Controls Analyst for SOX/IT audit and control testing, supporting financial reporting and IT governance and controls.

What you'll do

• Consult with line of business and enterprise functions on financial reporting or IT governance, controls, and oversight.
• Identify compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas.
• Provide oversight for testing and monitoring across moderate to complex control areas.
• Implement, operate, and report results for elements of the company policy, governance, and oversight framework.
• Lead IT application controls (ITACs) / ITGC COSO test work.
• Perform COSO testing of key application controls, including design effectiveness and operating effectiveness testing.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting, or Business and Technology Audit experience.
• Minimum two years at Big Four/super regional public accounting firm with IT audit and/or IT SoX advisory/consulting experience.
• Working knowledge of latest AI tools/prompt engineering and working knowledge of LLMs/GenAI systems such as Copilot and Claude.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies including Federal Reserve, US SEC, and OCC.
• Practical experience performing IT audit/IT COSO application control testing.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong communication.
