SAP FICO Principal Consultant

Overview

Principal-level SAP FICO consulting role focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP FICO solutions aligned to enterprise financial and controlling requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead SAP FICO efforts to manage rollout, upgrades, migration, and continuous improvement across business units and geographies.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements and align them with SAP FICO capabilities.
• Configure SAP FICO modules including GL, AP, AR, Tax, AA, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, COPA, CO-PC, and Banking.
• Plan and support end-to-end testing including unit testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• Design functional specifications with ABAP teams and oversee RICEFW development.
• Build documentation such as functional specifications, training materials, and knowledge articles.
• Ensure customer satisfaction via proactive communication and timely issue resolution.

What you'll need

• 12–15+ years of experience in SAP FICO consulting, including full-cycle implementations and post-go-live support.
• Experience in SAP ARIBA is mandatory.
• Experience in procure to pay domain is mandatory.
• Expertise in SAP FICO core modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CCA, PCA, IO, COPA, CO-PC).
• Regulatory compliance project experience required.
• Strong knowledge of cross-module integration points with MM, SD, PS, RAR, and HCM.
• Skills in writing detailed Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and collaborating on RICEFW objects with ABAP developers.

• Role is designed as Hybrid: average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
• Location: Bengaluru, Karnātaka, India.
