Overview

Engineering Intern (Manufacturing Engineer) for a structured 3–6 month internship at Western Digital’s Philippines site (PHO), focused on precision manufacturing operations in storage technology.

What you'll do

• Support day-to-day engineering activities in the assigned function area.
• Assist with data collection, process monitoring, and documentation.
• Contribute to a defined internship project with measurable output.
• Attend structured learning sessions and technical orientations.
• Complete mid-point and end-of-internship assessments.
• Present internship project findings to the team and mentor.

What you'll need

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3rd-year standing (rising seniors preferred).
• Be in good academic standing.
• Available for a 3–6-month full-time or part-time internship.
• Intended to be for academic credit as required/allowed by the academic program.
• Basic data analysis skills including Excel and basic statistics.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
