Overview

International Strategy & Operations Lead on OpenAI’s team supporting growth and management of the business outside the United States.

What you'll do

• Build operating plans by translating strategic priorities into goals, workstreams, owners, milestones, and decisions.
• Drive market growth initiatives across customer acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
• Create visibility into market performance using data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
• Lead executive communications with business reviews, recommendations, and executive-ready narratives.
• Connect regional needs to global priorities by synthesizing feedback into actionable recommendations.
• Drive strategic cross-functional initiatives across market readiness, launches, adoption, and operational improvements.
• Build repeatable programs including frameworks, planning processes, and operating rhythms.

What you'll need

• 10–15 years of experience in business operations, strategy, international growth, corporate strategy, or other highly analytical operating roles.
• Proven track record taking ambiguous business problems from diagnosis through strategy, execution, and measurable results.
• Ability to use business performance data, market research, and customer insights to answer complex questions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with experience producing executive-ready materials.
• Experience working across product, growth, finance, data science, marketing, and go-to-market functions.
• Comfort operating across senior discussions and direct execution with individual contributors.
• Strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and bias toward action.
