Overview

6-month internship for Cloud Applications & Software Engineering, starting Spring 2027, supporting cloud-native software development and automation in Stryker’s R&D team.

What you'll do

• Build and contribute to cloud-native software applications and developer tooling.
• Explore modern technologies including AI/AI agents, mobile development, and cloud platforms.
• Automate development workflows to improve speed, simplicity, and reliability.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Turn ideas into prototypes and help evaluate emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with international engineers and cross-functional teams on R&D projects.

What you'll need

• Be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science or Software Engineering).
• Have basic programming experience in one or more stated languages (Python, Java, C/C++, .NET, or Node.js).
• Understand fundamentals of modern software engineering.
• Show interest in cloud technologies, AI, automation, and modern software development.
• Have a basic understanding of cloud applications, microservices, and AI agents.
• Communicate comfortably in English at B2 level or above.
