Internship – FSTD

Overview

Six-month internship supporting the maintenance and readiness of flight simulators and associated training devices at Airbus India, under the supervision of the Simulator Engineering Team Leader or Shift Supervisor.

What you'll do

• Check simulator technical and handover logs at the start of each shift and assist with fault finding and repair work under supervision.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on simulators and other training equipment, following written procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
• Assist with simulator and training equipment Daily Readiness Checks using appropriate quality procedures and work instructions.
• Coordinate and assist in updating logs and databases to record maintenance work carried out and any parts used or replaced.
• Assist with specialist cleaning tasks on simulators and other high-value training equipment.
• Support training activities as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
• Be aware of and promote safe working practices.

What you'll need

• Background in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Engineering Graduate in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering.
• Ability to troubleshoot to system level.
• Ability to use tools and test equipment.
• Ability to work day and night on an 8-hour shift pattern.

• Internship duration: six months only.
• Includes an internal training basic course on Flight Simulator Maintenance.
• Location: New Delhi.
