Investment Banking Division - Analyst, Investment Banking (Mumbai)

Overview

Investment Banking Division Analyst for Global Centers in Mumbai, supporting deal execution and capital markets work across equity and debt and M&A. The role includes research, analytics, valuation support, and creation of investor/coverage materials.

What you'll do

• Provide deal execution support to coverage and product teams.
• Prepare marketing materials including pitchbooks.
• Conduct financial analysis such as benchmarking, capital structure and firepower analysis.
• Perform company valuation using financial models and relative valuation.
• Gather and synthesize financial and operating information to support client dialogue.
• Develop industry and macro market landscape themes and trends.
• Maintain and update databases used by senior management and deal teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (MBA / CA also accepted).
• 1–3 years of work experience in a related field.
• Fluency in English for written competency and spoken language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for global collaboration.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills working with financial data.
• Team player mindset with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
