Investment Performance Analysis -Team Lead

Overview

Lead an investment performance analysis function covering performance measurement, attribution, data validation, and reporting support.

What you'll do

• Perform performance analysis and attribution, including absolute and relative portfolio performance to factors like security selection and asset allocation.
• Reconcile and update portfolio/benchmark performance and validate performance in Global Performance Measurement and Risk applications.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve security level discrepancies at the transaction, position, and pricing levels.
• Retrieve, validate, and upload data from source/vendor systems into department applications.
• Validate completeness and accuracy of data in performance, risk, and analytics tools.
• Communicate with stakeholders to explain performance calculation/auditing details and resolve data issues.

What you'll need

• Post graduate qualification, preferably an MBA in Finance.
• 6-8 years post-graduation experience in a financial firm.
• Good understanding of equity, fixed income, and derivative instruments.
• Knowledge of investment management industry and security analysis/portfolio management.
• Basic MS Office skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
