iOS Engineer - Design System

Overview

iOS Engineer on the Design System team responsible for translating design language into reusable iOS UI components and interaction patterns.

What you'll do

• Shape the core experience for users and developers across the iOS ecosystem.
• Build maintainable, consistent UI components with product and design teams.
• Embed accessibility best practices such as content descriptions, touch targets, color contrast, and dynamic type.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to product teams and review contributions for conventions.
• Lead migration of legacy UIKit components to SwiftUI while maintaining stability.
• Proactively identify and address technical debt to maintain codebase health.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Fluency in Swift with hands-on knowledge of both SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience building or contributing to a design system, component library, or shared UI framework.
• Working knowledge of accessibility tools and standards including VoiceOver, dynamic type, color contrast, and touch target sizing.
• Testing experience for UI components including unit tests, snapshot tests, and UI automation.
• Comfort reviewing code and mentoring peers.
• Self-motivated, structured approach and clear communication in English.
