Java Backend Developer - Vadodara

Overview

Capco is hiring a Java Backend Developer to design, build and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and microservices for enterprise clients in banking and financial services.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and build robust microservices and REST APIs for enterprise-grade applications.
• Take ownership of features from technical design and development through testing, deployment and production support.
• Build secure, resilient, maintainable and high-performing backend services.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, Mobile, QA, DevOps and other engineering teams.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to coding standards, engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Location: Vadodara.
• Work mode: Hybrid, 2 days a week from the client office.
