Java Developer, BFSI Domain

Overview

Software Engineer (Java) role in the BFSI domain, operating at associate vice president level. You will engineer and maintain customer-centric, secure, robust software within a feature team.

What you'll do

• Engineer and maintain high-performance, secure software solutions.
• Develop complex software, scripts, and tools.
• Work across the full software lifecycle from requirements to operations.
• Design, produce, test, and implement working code.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business analysts.
• Produce complex and critical software rapidly with high quality.
• Optimize software engineering capability in collaboration with the team.

What you'll need

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Multithreading, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud-native application development.
• Strong database expertise, preferably with Sybase and/or PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices-based architectures.
• Experience using industry-recognized frameworks, design patterns, and modern development tooling.
• Background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and customer support.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in investment banking, capital markets, or financial services domain.
