Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Engineer to join Addepar’s Letter of Authorisation (LOA) team and build a system that enables self-service onboarding of held-away accounts for enterprise clients.

What you'll do

• Architect, implement, and maintain engineering solutions for complex problems.
• Write well-designed, testable code for scalable systems.
• Lead project priorities, deadlines, and solution approach.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and partners.
• Support business needs during US hours and represent engineering to clients.
• Mentor other engineers and communicate technical direction.
• Participate in design and development of a strategic product.

What you'll need

• Minimum 9+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expert-level backend development proficiency focused on Java.
• Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms for scalable architecture.
• Demonstrated proficiency designing and developing scalable microservice architecture.
• Experience with databases and architectures including SQL, NoSQL, OLAP, and/or data lake.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or similar field (or equivalent practical experience).
