Java Fullstack Developer

Overview

Java Fullstack Developer on Citi's Single Trade Gateway (STG) platform, a low-latency instruction processing platform for Fund Services (middle office and Fund Accounting). The role combines technology architecture, solution design and hands-on coding.

What you'll do

• Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
• Contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
• Drive business and operational efficiencies by devising technology architectures and solutions.
• Perform hands-on coding within the strategic operating platforms.
• Work closely with technology and business groups and senior technology managers.
• Take responsibility for delivery of key business requirements.

What you'll need

• 4-8 years' overall experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST, JSON, Hibernate, Maven.
• Strong algorithmic and Object Oriented concepts.
• Must have worked on using APIs through UI, such as Angular or React.
• Core Java, server side programming.
• Experience in low latency programming.
• Strong academic record.
• Team player.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• NoSQL database experience.
