Java Fullstack with React - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Lead application development activities and manage a team of developers and analysts. Drive Java full-stack software development, technical decisions, project delivery, and application systems improvements.

What you'll do

• Manage Applications Development professionals and oversee team performance, training, hiring, and development.
• Lead application systems analysis and programming activities.
• Prioritize technical issue resolution and oversee escalation processes.
• Provide technical oversight across systems and applications.
• Analyze complex application development and business process issues.
• Contribute to planning, budget management, procedures, and resource planning.
• Manage compliance, risk, controls, and accountability across activities.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience, primarily in Java.
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
• Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects.
• Experience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration testing tools, and audit or compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented design.
• Working knowledge of React or Angular, PL/SQL databases, and Unix.
• Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
