Java Microservices Senior Engineer

Overview

Lead the design and development of Java microservices and full-stack applications for medium-scale projects, while supporting larger initiatives. Provide technical expertise, influence design decisions, and improve development and delivery processes.

What you'll do

• Drive application design and development efforts to completion.
• Lead development on medium-scale projects and support larger efforts.
• Analyze and resolve coding, performance, design, and defect issues.
• Participate in design discussions and make application design decisions.
• Coordinate dependencies across agile and waterfall delivery.
• Track risks, bottlenecks, issues, and delivery progress.
• Share technical knowledge through engineering forums and team sessions.

What you'll need

• 9–13 years of experience in a product development or product management environment.
• Expertise in Java and microservices.
• Experience with Angular and full-stack development.
• Experience delivering with an agile methodology.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Experience leading infrastructure programs.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
