Jr. Failure investigation Analyst/Engineer

Overview

Investigate product and process failures for Cepheid products, determine root causes, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement with a quality-focused, analytical approach.

What you'll do

• Support manufacturing and in-process testing failure investigations.
• Investigate customer complaints, statistical trends, and stability-study findings.
• Inspect materials and perform laboratory testing during investigations.
• Design and execute experiments to support root-cause analysis.
• Analyze historical data and generate failure-trending reports.
• Document investigation progress and prepare final reports.
• Support process improvement, validation, and sustaining projects.

What you'll need

• In-depth technical knowledge of Cepheid products.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong quality focus and interest in laboratory work.
• Ability to use product and other software tools for testing.
• Ability to document investigations in compliance with Cepheid policy.
