Overview
Jr. Project Control Engineer – Aviation supports planning, scheduling, cost tracking, progress monitoring, forecasting, risk management, and reporting for airport infrastructure development projects.
What you'll do
- Develop, update, and maintain integrated airport development project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Prepare and maintain baseline schedules, detailed work programmes, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans.
- Perform schedule variance analysis and support impact assessments for changes, delays, and recovery measures.
- Monitor progress versus approved baselines and consolidate progress inputs from multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Track milestones, interfaces, testing & commissioning activities, and handover targets.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, KPI summaries, and management reports.
What you'll need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation projects involving airport terminals, airside works, landside infrastructure, cargo facilities, utilities, support buildings, and airport systems.
- Overall 10–15 years of experience in project controls, planning, scheduling, and cost management.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), risk management, forecasting techniques, and schedule performance analysis.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing integrated project schedules and progress monitoring/reporting systems.
- Knowledge of tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for planning and scheduling.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
