Junior Controller (part time)

Overview

Part-time Junior Controller responsible for compliance and operational accounting activities for the Finland entity, with potential support for other Nordic and EU entities.

What you'll do

• Ensure control environments comply with local accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Prepare statutory financial statements, VAT compilations, government IDs and filings.
• Liaise with business owners to coordinate processes and compliance deadlines.
• Prepare audit schedules for local statutory audits with the SSG India team.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis support to Finance and business teams.
• Support Treasury and procure-to-pay accounting process transitions.

What you'll need

• Experience as an accountant.
• Knowledge of Treasury, banking and procure-to-pay processes in Finland.
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and verbal.
• Strong organization, planning and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage compliance activities and statutory reporting deadlines.
• Willingness to take on challenges beyond day-to-day tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite.

• Part-time role.
• Remote in Finland; Helsinki residence is preferred.
• Salary range: EUR 40,000–50,000 annually based on full-time hours.
