Junior Financial Analyst

Overview

Junior Financial Analyst responsible for performing cost accounting activities, supporting month-end journal entries in ERP, and working with operations to track metric non-conformances.

What you'll do

• Perform cost accounting activities defined in the role.
• Follow corporate policy and key cost accounting metrics.
• Implement time-saving and cost-reducing initiatives via process improvements.
• Work with the operations team and follow up on reasons for metric non-conformances.
• Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with latest processes and document them in DMS.
• Serve as a backup for the cost accountant.

What you'll need

• Freshers with 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field (or equivalent for freshers).
• Basic level knowledge of MS applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Team player with analytical skills.
• Understanding and ability to interpret accounting policies.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• B.Com/BBA (Finance)/M.Com/MBA (Finance).
