Junior PMS Engineer

Overview

The Junior PMS Engineer will support the Global PMS Support Team by building maintenance structures, creating maintenance jobs, and maintaining technical data in the Planned Maintenance System.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain PMS component structures from vessel technical documentation.
• Review manuals and drawings to create and update maintenance jobs, checklists, and intervals.
• Analyze, validate, and update technical maintenance data in the PMS database.
• Perform quality checks for PMS data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Support fleet-wide PMS database-building and improvement projects.
• Use Excel and database tools to analyze and manage PMS data.
• Liaise with vessel personnel and internal stakeholders to clarify technical information.

What you'll need

• 1–2 years of relevant maritime experience.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a listed engineering, nautical, or related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to data quality.

Nice to have

• Experience in PMS, maintenance planning, technical documentation, or data management.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Previous onboard sailing experience in the Engine or Deck Department.
