Overview

Field sales role for an Associate in the Oil & Gas segment, based in Mumbai, focused on fintech distribution and EDC (swipe machine) sales to merchants.

What you'll do

• Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.
• Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
• Hire and build a new team to support growing needs and future projects.
• Define optimal sales force structure.
• Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
• Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements.
• Go to the merchant and educate them about the benefits of the swipe machine (EDC), convert them, and manage their accounts.
• Aggressively manage the successful execution of a sales strategy.

What you'll need

• Graduate degree, or a bachelor's degree or above.
• 1+ years of experience in distribution sales in fintech, banking/sales, or EDC sales.
• Strong understanding of the local language.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
