Key Account Manager BU Construction (Center Romania)

Overview

Key Account Manager for the Construction business unit, focused on managing key client relationships and strengthening long-term accounts in the construction sector.

What you'll do

• Manage client relationships and build long-term ties with key accounts.
• Collect and convey information to improve sales strategies and account planning.
• Create and maintain a client portfolio with account profiles and interaction history.
• Present offers and product/service features tailored to client needs.
• Track account performance using sales metrics, revenue targets, and KPIs.
• Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within accounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service and satisfaction.
• Conduct account reviews and develop strategic account plans for growth and retention.
• Manage contract renewals, negotiations, and amendments while ensuring compliance.

What you'll need

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development (usually 3–5 years for mid-level roles).
• Experience managing key or strategic accounts, preferably in the same industry.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with B2B sales and client relationship management.
• Knowledge of the specific market/industry (e.g., Bucharest market if region-specific).
• Ability to travel occasionally if client visits are required.
• Negotiation skills for closing deals and managing contracts.
• Strategic thinking to identify growth opportunities and develop account strategies.
• Communication and presentation skills; Romanian fluent and English advanced.
