KYC Operations Analyst 1

Overview

Entry-level KYC Operations Analyst role supporting AML monitoring, KYC governance, oversight and regulatory reporting activities. The role manages KYC records and documentation through approval while coordinating with relationship management, compliance and control teams.

What you'll do

• Create and update KYC records using internal and external information.
• Review company and regulatory sources for relevant news and information.
• Validate KYC records and CIP documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Complete KYC records according to regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Maintain workflow tools, statuses, mandatory fields and commentary.
• Meet daily review targets and service-level timeframes.
• Escalate discrepancies, negative news and high-risk cases.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience in banking, finance or law.
• Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of AI concepts, including machine learning and generative AI.
• Knowledge of European Union regulatory KYC/AML requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and support a team.

Nice to have

• Experience in a control, risk or AML/KYC compliance function.
• ACAMS certification.
