Large Language Model Architect

Overview

Architect large language models that can process and generate natural language, designing neural network parameters trained on large quantities of unlabeled text data. This is a leadership role acting as a subject matter expert for the team.

What you'll do

• Lead the development and implementation of scalable language model architectures to meet evolving project requirements.
• Design and structure advanced language models capable of understanding and generating human-like text.
• Envision the architecture of neural networks trained on extensive datasets so the models can effectively process natural language.
• Continuously evaluate and refine model parameters to enhance performance and adaptability across applications.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and be responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams, contribute on key decisions, and provide solutions to problems that apply across teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support professional growth and technical excellence.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong expertise in designing and optimizing neural network architectures for natural language processing tasks.
• Experience in handling large-scale datasets and implementing training pipelines for language models.
• Familiarity with model evaluation techniques and performance tuning to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to integrate language models into broader AI systems and workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
