Overview
Lead Business Finance role focused on financial planning, performance tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support for technology infrastructure cost centers.
What you'll do
- Provide financial insights partnering with Engineering, Infrastructure, Procurement, and business leaders.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, variance analysis, and month-end close for technology infrastructure cost centres.
- Analyze business and infrastructure performance across cloud, hosting, networking, security, SaaS, and enterprise technology spend.
- Build financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses for technology investments, scaling, and vendor contracts.
- Monitor financial and operational metrics (utilization, cost allocation, unit economics, ROI, and cloud consumption) and recommend actions.
- Support cloud financial management and FinOps through cost governance, efficiency improvements, and spend transparency.
- Prepare executive dashboards and management reports using financial and operational data.
What you'll need
- 3–6 years of experience in business finance/FP&A/strategic finance/consulting or related analytical roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Understanding of technology infrastructure concepts including cloud platforms, hosting environments, SaaS/software licensing, networking/security, and capacity/utilization management.
- Experience with planning/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
