Lead Consultant – FinOps & Cloudability

Overview

Lead Consultant to drive customer engagements in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps), Cloudability implementations, and cloud cost optimization.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end Cloudability implementation, optimization, and FinOps consulting engagements.
• Run discovery workshops to assess cloud environments, business requirements, and FinOps maturity.
• Design and implement Cloudability solutions including billing integrations, business mappings, tagging, cost allocations, and reporting.
• Develop cloud cost models, dashboards, executive reports, and actionable insights.
• Advise on cloud governance, budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, and FinOps operating models.
• Drive cloud cost optimization activities including rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, commitment management, and waste reduction.
• Lead solution architecture and integrations with enterprise platforms such as CMDB, ERP, ITSM, and BI tools.

What you'll need

• 6–10+ years of IT consulting, cloud, or technology financial management experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Cloudability.
• Strong understanding of FinOps principles and Cloud Financial Management.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud billing and cost management.
• Working knowledge of Technology Business Management (TBM) principles and their integration with FinOps practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
