Lead Data AI Engineer – Vice President, Data & Analytics Engineering

Overview

Lead data and AI engineering for a technology data lake within the Architecture & Modernization team. Build data infrastructure and pipelines while collaborating with technology and business stakeholders on technical data solutions.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Process structured and unstructured data for accessibility and usability.
• Optimize data systems for performance and scalability.
• Implement data quality and governance standards.
• Translate stakeholder data needs into technical solutions and insights.
• Create technical documentation and training materials.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge across the data architecture community.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of practitioner experience in data engineering or a related field.
• A graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Programming proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
• Experience with GenAI projects.

Nice to have

• Hands-on knowledge of SF Cortex or DBX Genie.
• Familiarity with data visualization, governance, security, Agile, data catalog, CI/CD, or DevOps tools and practices.
