Lead Data Engineer

Overview

Lead Data Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end modern data solutions, from project inception to completion.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage data engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and leverage data and data quality.
• Design, develop, and operate modern data architecture approaches for end-to-end solutions.
• Create and develop data processing pipelines to address client challenges.
• Collaborate with data scientists to implement scalable model solutions.
• Lead team implementation of data solutions and apply TDD and continuous delivery practices.
• Handle data governance, data security, and data privacy for business and compliance needs.

What you'll need

• Experience leading system design and implementation of technical solutions.
• Ability to create Big Data architecture and build/operate distributed data pipelines and storage.
• Deep understanding of data modeling and modern data engineering tools and platforms.
• Experience writing clean, high-quality code in a preferred programming language.
• Experience building and deploying large-scale production data pipelines and data-centric applications.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL/data lake/data schemas and similar different database types.
• Experience with GCP cloud.
